| In a recent survey of L&D Managers 44% said they expect their budgets to be cut in the next 12 months. Only 2% expected to get more money to invest in their people. What’s more, they expect that more and more of this spend will be directed towards activities to cope with and respond to changes driven by covid. The result – you get less less money to develop and your company stops being able to invest in their talent. What happens in these times of austerity in personal development – we either take control and develop ourselves or our careers go on hold and we kiss goodbye to the opportunities that we have worked so hard to get.
